The driver of the Month for April 2019 is Gregory Nowak.  Besides the fact that Gregory has the ability to grow a full beard, he will have been with the YCS for 30 years this December.  During his time with the company, his record is excellent in all areas of the job.

Habitat for Humanity Home Dedication Ceremony

Last spring we had the pleasure of helping build and sponsor a home with Habitat for Humanity.

Recently we had the honor of attending the Home Dedication Ceremony.  Its very cool being a part of someone’s life story and helping them get into their very own home.

Safety Hero for month of October 2018 - Gedion Kiflu

Congrats to Gedion Kiflu.  He is Yellow Checker Star Transportations Safety Hero of the month.  Gedion was able to avoid a pedestrian who was jaywalking outside of a crosswalk. 

We stress awareness and training here at YCS and Gedion is a great example of what it means to be a professional driver.  Thanks Gedion.
